This picture makes me mad. Incredibly mad (outraged, even) at the pilgrims. That’s right, the pilgrims! I want to know what in God’s name (see what I did there?) they were thinking when they settled down in Boston when they hadn’t even invented jackets.
Just imagine how that conversation went:
John Carver: “Hey so you know that place where there’s an excess of sandy beaches and great weather and possibly a fountain of youth?”
Pilgrims: “Yeah?”
John Carver: “I’ve got a WAY better idea….”
